We at the Devon Horse & Pony Sanctuary are very proud to say that we have been in existence since 1976 and a fully fledged charity since 1980.  In that time we have literally saved and rehabilitated hundreds of horses and ponies with the odd donkey here and there.

 

Every pound that is donated or funded is used to support the work we do in looking after the sanctuary and the animals.  We believe our work is so worthwhile and we know the animals would all agree if only they could talk.

 

We are a real family led charity and our aim is to carry on the legacy that was started in 1976 by Sylvia and three generations of Sylvias family are still making sure that her good work is continued through looking after the horses on a daily basis, to fund raising or just grandchildren mucking out and grooming.

We are also have an amazing and dedicated team of volunteers and staff that ensure that all the equines are well cared for and loved.
