In light of the continually evolving nature of the coronavirus pandemic, we are closed to visitors for the moment. Its important we prioritise the health and safety of our staff, volunteers, visitors and equines.

But when we can and hopefully in the near future, our aim is to continue to have small numbers of people to the sanctuary who would benefit from close proximity to our animals.
There is simply nothing better than hugging a horse when you are feeling down. It has been written before that research has confirmed the benefit of equine therapy.
It can lower your blood pressure and heart rate, alleviate stress and reduces symptoms of anxiety and depression. Equine therapy also helps people struggling with addictions or mental illness.
There are life skills that a horse can teach better than any person.
