Over the years, many horses and ponies have found a home with DHAPS for one reason or another and every one of them has a story behind their rescue.

 

It is wonderful to witness a horse come to us and then watching their road to recovery, but obviously  and very unfortunately, not every rescue has a happy ending, some are destined to cross the Rainbow Bridge. 

 

We feel privileged to have helped our rescues to recover and either find a new and happy foster home or for us to provide a forever loving home to the end of their days.  Here are a few rescue stories.
